Job Description : Job Title: Transportation / Assistant Logistics CoordinatorLocation : Fort Worth, TXDuration: Fulltime
Seeking highly motivated individual to execute transportation needs and build client relations.Member should have a background in transportation and understanding of both international and domestic transportation and familiar with all modes of transportation.Warehousing knowledge a plus.
Below qualification a plus but not required :
Existing carrier relations and contacts to help build our network.
Existing book of business a plus.
International knowledge
Below qualifications required :
Familiar with excel and basic formulas.
Strong computer skills
Strong communication skills
Detail Oriented
Works well with others
Makes decisions best for both the company and customer.
Daily Duties:
Execute shipments for new and existing customers and develop understanding of each customer’s needs
Proactive communication with customer and carrier to prevent foreseeable issues such as attempted pick up, damages, etc.
Follow through to completion from pick up to delivery
Enter Shipment information in TMS and POD information once complete
Work with carriers, warehouse and others to obtain quotes in a timely manner and submit quotes in the correct format for each customer.
Speaks fluent English but understanding of Korean language a plus.
Ability to train new members as we grow
Works with Customer and Carrier in the event of delays, damages or other issues to ensure customer is taken care of.
