Position : Utility In Charge
Job Description : Establish and conduct regular Inspection, Repair & Maintenance in order to get smooth operation of Power and Utility function in terms of Electrical and Mechanical.
Key Responsibilities
To Execute Daily/monthly/annual preventive & predictive maintenance activities of equipment’s like Power Transformer, Distribution Transformers Switch yard, Sub stations,& HT lines, Metering, Settling Tank Cleaning, Water Quality checks
Execution of SOPs for Safety
To Execute timely issue related to Power Factor, Demand, Harmonic Adherence.
Settling Tank Maintenance and Operations
Diesel Consumptions reduction
ETP, STP -Plant Operations and Maintenance (Generations, Recycles, Chemical Consumption
Upkeeping of Utility Section (100%)
Energy Saving Activities Initiations/Co-Ordinations
To generate & update machine maintenance. records in Compliance to TS16949, ISO – 14001, TQM & TPM systems .
Review, recommend and coordinate TPM, PM, Proactive Maintenance and Predictive Maintenance Programs to prevent equipment failures
Timely maintenance of Power Plant equipment’s, and Its statutory compliances
To ensure efficient operation and Maintenance of Chiller, DG, Cooling tower, Compressor, Office AC, Plant Lightings @100% Up time
To execute inventory reduction activity plan in order to ensure optimum inventory levels & smoothen maintenance activities.
To monitor & control daily Power,Diesel & Water consumption in the process area in order to minimize consumption.
To Monitor Power cost and Adherence of If there is Gap
To execute improvements initiatives for reduction of water & air /power consumption in process equipment’s to optimize utility operation cost.
To do analysis of repetitive breakdowns in Power and Settling Tank equipment’s through PDCA/QC circles.
Continual Improvement for Sustaining and Improving the Working Culture and Cost Savings
To provide on job training to workers in order to improve their technical skill.
Responsible and accountable for the definition, implementation and reporting of key projects and/or continuous improvement programs, within a defined area
Cell related Production Issues
Qualification and Skills
Graduate or Diploma in Engineering (Electrical or Mechanical) with full time from reputed colleges
Preferred – Candidates with experience from – Automobile and Process Industry who handling 33KV/110KV/300KL Water Treatment Plant/Above 1000KVA DG handling.
