Job Description : Are you looking for an awesome career with a fun team? Walmart is expanding our Warehouse Associates for our retail store project teams. We are looking to grow our team and top talent to join our fast-paced, friendly environment! As a Warehouse Associates in our regional retail stores, you will receive inbound trucks and prepare trucks for shipping by loading and unloading store fixtures, operate power equipment (training available) including but not limited to Forklift, Pallet Rider, Bander, and reach truck, prepare and condense pallets as well as perform audits and process fixtures from the stores and determine what materials can be recycled. For this job, you will need to work in a team environment in a warehouse setting.
What are the essential functions of the Warehouse Associates :

Communicate with (or to) individuals or groups verbally and/or in writing (e.g.customers, suppliers, associates).
Maintains housekeeping and safety of facility by monitoring levels of trash in compactors, open-top containers, and trash line; removing and baling cardboard from trash line and reporting trash levels.
Processes merchandise and pallets by moving pallets to staging areas and put away locations using power equipment.
Ensure sufficient quantities of-boxes are available for order fillers by monitoring levels and replenishing as needed
Shift options are: Sunday-Thursday 6am-3pm or 9am-6p or Monday-Friday 6am-3pm or 9am-6pm

High school diploma or equivalent
Must be 18 years of age
Desire to work in environment that can be fast paced
Ability to work full-time, 40 hours per week
Attention to detail and accuracy is key
Must be able to pass a drug and background check
Must be able to consistently lift up to 60 lbs independently and ask for a team lift on heavier items
