Position : Warehouse Clerk

Job Description : We are a family owned and operated sports apparel company located in San Diego. We are looking for someone who fits in well with the team and can handle a fast paste work environment. We value teamwork and a fun work place while working hard and staying focused. Our warehouse is always organized and our customers always come first. We also recently opened a store onsite and need someone who can move around between the warehouse and the store.
Primary responsibilities

Fulfill customer orders
Stock merchandise on racks/ keep shelves organized
Check in merchandise, count and enter inventory
Move materials off racks and package for shipments
Record amounts of materials or items received
Keep warehouse clean
Sort material according to size, type, style, color, or product
Carry out tasks as assigned by the warehouse supervisor / manager
Identify damage, loss, or surplus of goods and materials stored in the warehouse
Compile inventory balances and price lists
Maintain records of all activities and processes pertaining to the warehouse
Delegate duties as necessary

Requirements

Strong organizational skills
Is detail-oriented and capable of noticing small errors on orders or defective aspects of products
Must be capable of managing time effectively and multi-tasking as necessary
Exhibits strong communication skills, essential for working with other employees and with customers
Works well with others
High school diploma or GED is required
Must have basic computer skills
Majority of typical 9-5 workday is spent in a warehouse

Job Type: Part-time
Pay: From $17.00 per hour
