Position : Warehouse Manager

Job Description : We are looking for a hands-on Warehouse Manager to join our growing team. You will be responsible for the day-to-day operations of our warehouse in fulfilling customer orders, performing general warehouse operations and leading and developing staff. You are a solutions-oriented leader that strives to continuously improve existing processes.
Responsibilities
Main functions: shipping, receiving (inventory, supply and returns), and warehouse organization

Manage the day-to-day operations of our warehouse team to fulfill customer orders and perform general warehouse operations
Ensure all orders are shipped within lead time commitments
Perform hands-on support to the warehouse team by performing duties that may include packing, pulling/checking customer orders, replenishment, shipping and material handling
Plan inventory counts and cycle counts
Schedule outbound LTL shipments for customer orders
Establish—and improve—warehouse procedures and policies
Identify and address any issues that may come up by understanding underlying cause and implementing corrective actions
Identify opportunities to improve existing processes; develop and implement new procedures that increase efficiency and drive profitability
Lead and develop the warehouse team
Establish KPIs for each team member and monitor performance against these KPIs
Train, coach and develop team members
Participate in hiring process for new team members
Interface with other departments to execute on new initiatives and resolve any issues that may come up
Responsible for other management tasks
Achieve company’s target performance metrics (e.g., fill rates, order processing times)
Assist company in meeting profitability target by keeping shipping supplies and labor costs within budget
Investigate, report, and act on safety or customer service issues occurring in your warehouse
Ensure that warehouse team has adequate supplies by monitoring supplies and submitting re-orders when needed
Ensure that warehouse equipment stays in optimal functioning condition by monitoring condition, keeping a maintenance/repair log and coordinating repairs when needed
Safeguard warehouse operations and contents by establishing and monitoring security procedures and protocols
Other duties as assigned
Note: Role may require some Saturdays during peak season

Requirements

3 – 5 years’ experience as a warehouse manager
Demonstrate effective leadership abilities and have a track record of success
Able to solve problems and implement procedures that maintain an efficient warehouse workflow
In depth knowledge of warehouse management systems
Proficient computer skills
Positive, kind and easy to work with, able to support a diverse workforce
Outstanding communication skills, both written and verbal.
Available to work extended hours.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $75,000.00 – $100,000.00 per year
