Job Description : Warehouse Team Lead (2nd Shift)
This role requires an individual that will take charge and have the willingness to roll up their sleeves and resolve issues independently. Must be highly motivated and have a strong work ethic and have at least 1 year working experience in a third-party logistics warehouse.
Compensation to Start: $20.00 – $22/hour (depending on experience) + $1.00 shift differentialShift: Monday – Friday / 2:30pm – 11:00pm*** This position will require mandatory overtime. ***
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

Under limited supervision, rely on experience to exercise independent judgment to determine the best approach to achieve desired outcomes by interpreting procedures and policies. (There may be times where you are the highest-ranking leader on shift!)
Ensure all shifts are covered and tasks are being executed
Provide general guidance/direction, training, and technical assistance to warehouse associates.
Contribute to employees’ professional development.
Safely operate a forklift or other machinery to complete tasks such as loading, unloading, sorting, picking, stocking, staging, and transportation of goods.
Find ways to cut waste with LEAN initiatives (if you don’t know what LEAN is don’t worry, we’ll teach you!)
Work on special projects as directed by the warehouse manager

Qualifications:

12 months of warehouse or logistics experience and operations
12 months of in a leadership role with 5 or more employees strongly preferred.
Able to adapt in a fast-moving environment including handling multiple projects at one time
Effectively communicate in writing and verbally to warehouse workers, CSRs, and leaders of all levels within the organization
Ability to work weekends, holidays, and overtime when and if needed
