Job Description : Summary:
The Warehouse Worker performs repetitive operations on the assembly line to mass-produce automotive seat components. The warehouse worker also assists with inventory management, cost control, and quality processes of the plant.

Responsibilities:

Fast-paced, repetitive lifting of up to forty pounds
Ability to understand written and verbal instructions in English and complete written forms/worksheets ª Required to comply with established safety practices, and PPE
Assembly and inspection of automotive parts
Uses power tools to affix bolts, nuts, screws, and parts
Operating manual parts conveyance vehicles
Rotates to various production operations as needed and is responsible for performing each task to a standard
Works in a diverse team to achieve common goals
Adjusts to the changing needs of a fast-paced manufacturing environment
Problem solves and continuously improves safety, quality, and productivity
Performs work in accordance with standardized procedures (ODS)
Perform 5S duties (Sort, Straighten, Shine, Standardize, Sustain) at all time

Requirements:

Walk frequently at a fast pace; sit; squat; push/pull; handle above shoulder; handle below the shoulder; bend back, forward, and at the waist
Use hands to handle, feel or operate objects, tools, or controls; reach with hands and arms
The employee is occasionally required to sit; step/climb or balance; stoop.
Constant standing
Repetitive use of the hands
Frequent twist of hands and waist
Frequent lifting (up to 40 lbs.)
Frequent need for pushing pulling force of 100 lbs. on casters
Ability to read and interpret documents in English. Some of the documents are safety rules, blueprints, and procedure manuals.
Ability to write routine reports and correspondence

Pay Rate & Schedule:

$17.26/hr
Day and night shift
8-12 hours daily
Saturdays
Overtime
#AVZPROD
