Job Description
Duties require AutoCad software knowledge and ability for Furniture Engineering Design for A WOOD Millwork company.
Typical Duties:
* Prepares drawings by studying engineering specifications; creating a 2D or 3D drawings; components and parts using AutoCad. Working knowledge of Microvellum Software applications is a plus as well as working knowledge of MS Office.
* Prepares final drawings by studying engineering sketches, specifications and supporting documents; developing a layout of the system, components and parts; drawing multiple views of the system, components and parts; depicting relationship of components and parts; identifying dimensions, angles, curvatures, tolerances and materials.
* Identifies and verifies specifications by examining documents; performing calculations in metric.
* Modifies drawings by studying changes, components and parts from customers’ requests.
* Resolves discrepancies by collecting and analyzing information; conferring with management.
* Must be able to provide technical assembly instructions of products for customers.
* Responsible to prepare customer proposal drawings of products.
* Ability to Interface with customer or team members on project assignments.
* Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
Skills/Qualifications:
Min. AutoCAD 2010 Drafting skills, Must Have 2-D Isometric and 3-D Working Knowledge Required, MS Office and Photoshop working knowledge a must; Deadline-Oriented, Self-Motivated, Design Skills, Analyzing Comparative Information , Wood/ Cabinet Shop Mill Work Experience is required, MS Office Software experience a must. Exposure or knowledge of Wood Industry Microvellum Software is a plus as well as CNC Wood Machines!!!

Pay: $22.00 – $30.00 per hour
