A TPM Category Management Lead drives incremental growth by defending our support services Installed Base business and by winning back business from unauthorized Third Party Maintainers or customers that are self-maintainers.
The TPM Category Management Lead ensures end-to-end management and execution of WW TPM Program strategic initiatives within their assigned Geos; leading and executing/mapping the entire WW TPM Program strategy for win back and defend to the needs and unique requirements of the Geos.
The successful candidate will need to:
Have a clear understanding of the Pointnext Operational Services support business, Pointnext Services Portfolio, Installed Base renewal process and have a track record of either assisting with competitive positioning or prior sales experience.
Understanding of the HPE Direct RTM is key for this role and having experience working with cross functional teams is required.
This role will include working closely with the WW TPM Taskforce Team to support “must win deals’ for the assigned Geos.
To drive pipeline & order growth, the selected candidate will need to define and recommend approaches/ campaigns that would work best for the business challenges faced in the Geos using the HPE Direct model.
The candidate will also be responsible for implementing globally developed programs/campaigns and training.
This person will need to work closely with the HPE Pointnext Tech Care, HPE Pointnext Complete Care, GreenLake Managed Services, Multivendor Support, and GreenLake Category Managers to ensure they are aligned on actions, plans and activities to jointly win back and defend the core Installed Base business.
Key Responsibilities will include:
Launch & enable Geo WW TPM Program strategies and initiatives
Evangelize the HPE Value Message to drive comprehensive and value based solutions vs price based discussions
Drives business opportunities and implements HPE Direct/Indirect activities and campaigns to drive business growth
Support and reinforce WW TPM Program Promos & Incentives
Oversee incentive registration and approvals for HPE Direct
Use data analytics to drive campaigns to support growth Initiatives
Development of Geo communication plan, Geo collateral, and resources
Support Geo TPM Focal (APAC, India, and Japan)
Support local Geo initiatives and document Best Practices
Drive actionable execution on contract cancellations, uncovered boxes. etc.
Follow Geo governance/cadence
Implements WW TPM Program initiatives driving execution through the GEO TPM Focal; drives and leads global key business initiatives to drive HPE Direct order growth and stop Installed Base erosion (In cases such as budget gaps or new business initiatives, the TPM Category Management Lead drives specific recovery/ acceleration plans)
Identifies key competitors and builds a competitive approach to counter their activities
Identifies strategic customers for targeted business pursuits
Evangelizes and promotes value based sale strategies within the HPE Direct teams and Geos
Single point of contact for Geo TPM Focal for every aspect of the WW TPM program
Solicits feedback from Geo TMP Focal on competitiveness, needs and provides feedback to WW Category Team
Build rapport and credibility with assigned Geos. Become their “Trusted Advisor”
Care – Delight external & internal customers helping them achieve their business goals in a customer centric culture
Innovate – Transform organization, innovate, and optimize processes to increase efficiency and productivity, contributing to overall company’s business growth
Grow – Develop & enable relevant Portfolio & Process simplification, while supporting Geos to execute on Growth Programs contributing to overall orders, revenue, and margin growth
Major Tasks
End to End responsibility for HPE Direct/Indirect WW TPM Program segment and actions
Expert on the HPE Pointnext Services Portfolio
Single point of contact for HPE Direct on unauthorized TPM related issues or inquiries
Identifies target customers and creates a plan based on global guidance + geo input
Actions to be considered for the GEO should include promotions, portfolio bundles, call out activities, and account identification focusing on HPE Direct business
Utilize data analytics (Winback 4.1, Cancelation Data & Sales Lobby) / tools to help HPE Direct sales teams to identify win back pursuits
Enforces SFDC hygiene, campaign coding, tracking & results reporting
Represents the WW TPM Program related initiatives in sales including training
Drives funnel growth – manages Geos’ TPM Program Defend/Win Back funnel size and shape for the offers and key deals
Uses HPE Intellectual Capital Management competitive collateral to educate sales on selling against unauthorized TPMs
Executes a HPE Direct sales enablement plan, using the global sales enablement material and sales collateral for end user sales (Localizes the material as needed)
Position should be open for India Geo candidates to apply and works closely with WW, Geo and HPE Direct functions, covering Asia region. Initially internal candidates will be considered.
