Job Description : We are a rapidly expanding and dynamic mental health therapy clinic, in need of an experienced, team-oriented, and self-directed Billing Specialist. We invite you to consider joining Portland DBT Institute’s billing team, where you will become and integral part of assisting our support staff and clients alike!The full-time billing specialist will be responsible for performing detailed behavioral health receivable work. This position will be housed at our Salem, Oregon clinic. Some remote work may be expected.ResponsibilitiesResearch and address claim denials from insurance companiesResubmit corrected claims for reimbursementConsistently work insurance aging report (primary, secondary, and tertiary claims)Participate in weekly billing team meetings via zoomPerform other duties as requestedSkillsDetail orientedStrong phone skillsStrong computer skillsAbility to work closely with a team and/or independentlyComplies with all requirements of HIPAAExperience with NueMD and Practice Fusion preferredExperience with online insurance portals strongly preferredAbility to investigate, identify, and resolve insurance/billing errorsJob Type: Full-timePay: $18.00 – $22.00 per hourBenefits:401(k)Dental insuranceHealth insuranceLife insurancePaid time offVision insuranceSchedule:8 hour shiftDay shiftMonday to FridayCOVID-19 considerations:Portland DBT Institute follows CDC guidelines for safety precautions.
