Job Description : Job DescriptionCompany: Adventure Wagon is the leading manufacturer of interior components for Mercedes Sprinter and Ford Transit van conversions. Our products allow customers to convert their vans into overland, van-life, adventure travel rigs. Business is booming and we are looking for the right individual to join our team as we continue to grow.Job Overview: Assist customers via phone, email, and in person. Share your expertise of Adventure Wagon products to help them make a buying decision, process their purchase, and handle post-sale questions.Adventure Wagon Customer Service Representative Job DescriptionReports to: Customer Service ManagerJob Overview: Assist customers via phone, email, and in person with understanding Adventure Wagon products to make a buying decision, process their purchase, and handle post-sale questions.Primary Responsibilities and Duties: Answer incoming customer phone calls and emailsMaintain and update data in CRM, QuickBooks, and Shopify eCommerce systemsMeet customers at our facility and show them Adventure Wagon productsEnter customer orders into QuickBooks order management systemProvide pre-sale and post-sale product expertiseRelate to the customers’ use of their van and make product recommendationsWork with the shipping department to ensure delivery meets or exceeds customer expectations.Process customer issues to resolutionOther Duties: Work on customer-service related projects involving customer or product researchOccasional hands-on light manufacturing work to gain product knowledge and to pitch in during high-volume times.Staff trade show booth at events requiring occasional multi-day travelIdentify and implement ways to improve the customer experienceSuccess looks like: Your knowledge of Adventure Wagon and other van conversion products is deep. With that knowledge, you help guide the customer through their experience in planning and building their van and offer suggestions for complementary products.Customers trust you because you provide clear, accurate and insightful solutions.You build a relationship with customers and they ask for you personally.You set clear expectations with our customers, ensure our shipping department knows the expectations, and follow through to make certain promises are kept.Your accuracy and attention to detail limits mistakes. If mistakes are made, you own up to it and learn where such mistakes can be prevented in the future.You love your job and you feel like a strong member of a team that cares about each other and about the success of our businessSpecific measurable Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) will be developed for this position.
