With over 1,000 team members throughout Michigan, DM Burr services a variety of areas, such as schools, government and public facilities, manufacturing plants, financial institutions, retail centers and more!Position Available: Full Time, 1st Shift Grounds position working Monday-Friday, and some weekends as needed. Schedule will be discussed during interview process.Benefits Offered: $200 Hiring Bonus after 90 daysMedical, Dental and Vision InsuranceShort/Long Term DisabilityLife Insurance401(k)Paid VacationPaid HolidayConsistent Work SchedulesCompany Paid UniformsCompany Provided TrainingPrimary Responsibilities: Complete tasks of all landscaping and grounds service requests.Maintain an up-to-date inventory of all equipment, tools and supplies needed to perform maintenance functions.Maintain facility grounds, which includes cutting grass, edging, cleaning the yard, trimming shrubbery, raking, planting, and weeding.Clean parking lots, sidewalks and driveways of debris.Remove snow from sidewalks and driveways with use of snow blowers, shovels and plows.Spread sand, salt or ashes to prevent slipping.Follow all safety standards as outlined in company policy and OSHA regulationsPosition Requirements: Previous grounds/landscaping experience; commercial grounds experience preferredAbility to work outdoors in all weather conditionsAbility to stand for long periods of timeAbility to lift up to 40 lbs.Ability to follow basic verbal and written instructionsAbility to work with minimal supervisionAbility to pass a criminal background checkMust have valid driver’s license and clear driving history (no restrictions)Job Type: Full-timePay: $18.00 per hourBenefits:401(k)401(k) matchingDental insuranceFlexible spending accountHealth insuranceLife insurancePaid time offReferral programVision insuranceSchedule:8 hour shiftDay shiftMonday to FridaySupplemental Pay:Signing bonusEducation:High school or equivalent (Required)License/Certification:Driver’s License (Required)Work Location: One location
