The Office of Developmental Disabilities Services (ODDS), part of the Oregon Department of Human Services (ODHS), is looking to hire three Project Managers to join our dedicated and compassionate team .

ABOUT THE PROGRAM
The Office of Developmental Disabilities Services (ODDS) administers state-funded programs for persons with developmental disabilities including but not limited to planning, resource development, consultation, technical assistance and monitoring and evaluation.
ODDS over sees the delivery of residential, employment, family support, crisis, and case management services through county governments or their private subcontract agencies. Over 15,000 Oregonians are receiving one or more of these services in various programs located throughout the State.
WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING
As the Project Manager you will facilitate all stakeholder meetings, incorporate feedback into the project and manage the project activities and tasks in alignment with business goals and objectives. These activities include but are not limited to:
Ensuring smooth facilitation occurs at all meetings and coordinates communication within the project team and stakeholder groups.
Collaborating with the Project Director, create the project schedule.
Reporting to sponsor, Executive Steering Committee, and other oversight bodies on progress of project.
Facilitating project activities and tasks at a high level and drive strategic approach in alignment with business goals and objectives identified for the project.
Meeting with the project vendors.
Identifying project risks, issues and concerns and possible resolution.
Managing project staff including hiring, mentoring, and coaching.
WORKING CONDITIONS
Remote work or alternative work location may be considered in filling this position. The ability to report to Salem is required when business or operational needs are dependent on onsite activities.
High pressure environment with high volume of workload and tight timelines.
Occasional travel with overnight stays. Requires a valid driver’s license or other acceptable form of transportation.

THIS IS WHAT YOU NEED TO QUALIFY

Qualifications:
Five years of lead work, supervision, or progressively related experience.
OR
Two years of related experience and a bachelor’s degree in a related field.
Essential Skills:
Experience in project management including initiative governance.
Skilled in business analysis and process redesign.
Experience facilitating internal and external stakeholder workgroups collaboratively.
Experience monitoring project timeline to stay on schedule.
Experience in staff supervision and workflow.
Skill in consulting, coaching, and facilitation methods.
Experience in reporting to project sponsors, committees, and oversight bodies on project progress.
Experience working with case management stakeholders such as county government, providers, union, family members, and self-advocates.
Understanding of group dynamics included learning and cultural differences.
Experience with MS Project.
Preference may be given to candidates with human services program experience.
