If you are a life-long learner, you will do well at Precision Roofing Services.Strong consideration for employment:- Must have a clean driving record- Must be able to pass a physical- Must have an outstanding attitudeProject Manager-Primary Function: Fully responsibility of all phases of the job.- Manages the TOTAL QUALITY of the job to insure it is done right the first time- Communicates with the customer before, during, and after each job.- Ensures that the field is aware of any special customer conditions.- Implements and upholds job safety.- Checks estimator’s quantities to ensure accuracy.- Maintaining job records- Documents change orders, takes photos of any damaged wood, etc.- Manages all phases of project, (roofing, sheet metal, masonry, etc.)- Payroll and material reporting and verification- Bringing the job within budgetSpecific Duties and Responsibilities: – Job Schedulingo Pre- construction planningo Coordinate delivery of materialso Schedules equipment and dumpsterso Schedules field personnelo Coordinates job with Foremeno Manages job through to successful and profitable completion- Job Safetyo Assures crew adhere to safety standardso Assures each job is planned to minimize risko Assures all safety equipment is at jobsite an in working ordero Reports any incidents immediately to Field Supervisor- Quality and Productivityo Knows manufactures specificationo Assures the job progresses according to plano Maintains good working relationships with owners and coworkerso Improves quality by suggesting profitable change orders- Job Costing paperwork for labor and materials- Make sure truck is loaded with all tools and equipment- Taking into consideration proximity to staging areas, possible theft, customer access to house and garage, you must determine the best place to unload and store materials.- Making sure you understand the specifications and estimator’s paperwork before you start the job.- Checking to see if there is rotted decking the estimator did not uncover.- Checking to see if the customer needs new gutters or additional ventilation, or other change orders, which are not part of the specifications.- Reporting problems to the Field Supervisor immediately.- Determine your best starting point- End of Jobo Go back over the complete roof checking all flashing details, etc.o Check valleys and gutters to see that they are clean and free of any debris.o Check all around house, bushes and gardens for any debris or damage to siding, windows, shutters, and landscaping.o Use magnetic broom around perimeter of jobsite, especially the driveway.o Make sure the jobsite is cleaner when you leave than you got there.o Meet with customer to walk job site and be sure that they are completely satisfied with your work, and get the checklist signed.Benefits: – Vision- Dental- Health Insurance- Paid time off- Referral Program- Employee discounts- 90-day reviewSalary: Salary will be commensurate with experience starting at $64,000/ year. + Commission on all Change Orders319 Clinton St., Lansing, MI 48906 517.393.9386 www.PrecisionRoofingMI.comJob Type: Full-timePay: $64,000.00 – $75,000.00 per yearBenefits:Dental insuranceEmployee discountHealth insurancePaid time offReferral programVision insuranceSchedule:10 hour shift12 hour shift8 hour shiftMonday to FridayWeekend availabilitySupplemental Pay:Bonus payCommission payEducation:High school or equivalent (Required)Experience:Construction Experience: 5 years (Required)Project Management: 3 years (Required)License/Certification:Driver’s License (Required)Work Location: Multiple Locations
