Job Description:
We are seeking an individual experienced in customer service, document review, credentialing, and data review. If you have this experience and are interested in working with Medicaid applications and data in order to assist Providers with enrollment and requirements, then you need to apply today!

What you will do!

You will screen, analyze and validate provider enrollment applications.
You will communicate the decision and reasons providers are processed or rejected for enrollment.
You will advise providers of the necessary requirements needed to enroll in the Medicaid program.
You will researche and resolve enrollment issues, and respond to enrollment questions and inquiries.
You will participate in development of processes and procedures related to Provider Enrollment.

This is a full-time, permanent, SEIU represented, Public Service Representative 4 position.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR:
Three years of experience performing public contact and/or customer service duties comparable to the work of a Public Service Representative.
At least two years of this experience must include dealing with the public in-person or by phone providing information about services and programs; explaining rules, programs, and procedures; and/or providing assistance, explaining requirements, and gaining compliance.
Experience in creating and maintaining a work environment that is respectful and accepting of diversity among team members and the people we serve.
Experience with computer use and typical business software products.
Knowledge of or ability to learn and maintain general knowledge of OHA programs.
Knowledge of or ability to learn and follow existing and new enrollment procedures.
Knowledge of or ability to learn and maintain detailed knowledge of MMIS enrollment functions.
Knowledge of or ability to learn and maintain knowledge of federal requirements, state rules and program requirements for the Oregon Medicaid Program.
Ability to utilize analytical and time management skills.
Ability to communicate clearly and concisely orally and in writing.
Ability to analyze systems, identify problems and recommend solutions.
Ability to read, comprehend and apply complex rules, regulations, policies and procedures.
Exercise critcal thinking to identify and analyze enrollment application errors or discrepancies.
Abiltiy to work assignments with minimal direction and meet productivity and quality requirements.
