Job Description : The intermodal ramp operator has three different levelsAs you progress through the different types of lift equipment will receive a pay raiseAll operators will also be expected to perform the other two job levels as neededLevel 1 – You are a ground support worker work along with the crane operators in loading and unloading units on and off rail cars. You must be able to walk long distances, climb on and off rail cars, and placing/ removing inter-box connectors weighing up to 16 lbs; setting pedestals weighing up to 50 lbsLevel 2 – Hostler driver drives a hosting vehicle within the yard pulling units ranging from 20 ft. up to 57 ft. in length and weighing up to 65,000 lbs and maneuvering units in and out of tight spaces and parking stallsLevel 3 – equipment operators operate a rubber tire gentry crane and side loaders to lift units on and off railcarsCome work with us and learn a variety of skillsets.We look forward to your application.Job Type: Full-timePay: $45,000.00 – $65,000.00 per yearBenefits:401(k) matchingDental insuranceHealth insurancePaid time offVision insuranceSchedule:10 hour shift12 hour shiftDay shiftHolidaysMonday to FridayNight shiftOvertimeWeekend availabilityApplication Question(s):can you pass background check ?can pass drug screen ?Education:High school or equivalent (Preferred)Experience:Driving: 1 year (Preferred)License/Certification:Driver’s License (Preferred)Shift availability:Day Shift (Preferred)Overnight Shift (Preferred)Work Location:One locationWork Remotely:NoWork Location: One location
