Job Description : Riverpoint Medical in Northeast Portland is looking to hire a Talent Acquisition Specialist. At Riverpoint you will be part of the process that brings great technology to Medical, Dental and Veterinary markets. We specialize in the design and manufacturing of premium medical devices. Our ingenuity can be found in our suture technologies, sports medicine fibers and anchors, surgical lighting, and special needle technologies. The Talent Acquisition Specialist is part of a team performing recruiting and guiding hiring managers and candidates through the selection process along with support to the HR team.Duties and Responsibilities for the position include: Recruits, interviews, and facilitates the hiring of qualified job applicants for open positionsPerform selection function including pre-screening resumes and candidatesCollaborates with departmental managers to understand skills and competencies required for openingsSchedules meetings and interviews as requested by the hiring manager or Director of HR and performs other administrative functionsMeet established hiring targets, manage client relationships, and interact with hiring managers to discuss specific requirementsHandle administrative tasks for onboarding, new hire orientation, and exit interviews, including entering data into HR information systemsEnsure proper and confidential protection of candidate data, recruiting and hiring practices comply with governmental regulations and company policy and procedure requirementsSource active and passive candidates that fit and will further our culture through networking, direct sourcing, and working with external executive search firms (as needed), providing exceptional service delivery by understanding our business landscape, competitive demographics, and employment value proposition to provide a qualified and diverse candidate poolBuild networks with strong leadership talent in the marketplacePerform HR administration duties as assignedSkills and Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in HR, business, or a related field or equivalent work experienceExperience in full lifecycle recruiting with additional HR training or experience a plusExcellent communication skills, interpersonal skills, ethics, and cultural awarenessResourceful, problem-solving aptitude and thorough knowledge of HR procedures and policiesSuperior knowledge of MS Office, HRIS systems, and comfortable learning new technology systems as needed; ADP Workforce Now experience a strong plusKnowledge of state and federal laws and regulationsWe offer great benefits: Medical, Dental and Vision, Life and Accidental Death Insurance; 401(k) with company match and immediate vesting, Paid Time Off and 8 company paid holidays.
