Job Description : Local Candidates Only – On-Site
We are looking to fill a role to help facilitate all aspects of our accounting function. From Payroll, Accounts Payable, Month End Close, Tax Filings, Compliance Reporting, etc. We are open to all kinds of levels of experience from new college graduates looking for their first job, someone with a few years of experience, a seasoned accountant looking for a part time role, the list goes on. The most important quality this person will have is the ability to learn, retain, and take ownership of their responsibilities. You will report to the Controller and Accounting Manager that have backgrounds in public accounting and CPA’s.
Responsibilities:

Support the Controller and Accounting Manager in all aspects of the accounting function.
Process bi-weekly payroll, verify accuracy of timecards, coordinate with HR regarding changes and updates
Process Accounts Payable and assist in weekly check run
Support accounting function with all administrative duties such as 1099’s, W2G program, Filing and Scanning invoices, and other ad hoc request.
Reconcile Bank and Credit Card Accounts
Maintain GL supporting schedules, as requested
Support closing activities as assigned
Assist Audit Process
Ensure that the accounting files (paper and digital) are organized
Procurement of goods and supplies needed

Qualifications:

Demonstrated knowledge of Accounting Principles through college education and/or equivalent work experience
1-3 years of Accounting experience preferred but open to all experience levels
Detail-oriented with a passion for problem-solving
Moderate/Strong Excel Experience
Strong communication skills
Demonstrated knowledge using 3rd Party Payroll System, Accounting Systems, and interest in learning new systems
Willingness to be part of a team environment

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $60,000.00 – $90,000.00 per year
