Position : Administrative Data Specialist-ObGyn

Job Description : Responsibilities

In this role, you will assist with the compiling, reconciling, and analyzing of information for multiple clinical departments. You will also facilitate quality improvement projects along with associated administrative duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Interpersonal skills to establish and maintain effective working relationships with a variety of constituents such as faculty, administrative and clinical staff.
Skill in communication, both verbal and written.
Demonstrated ability to interact effectively with culturally diverse population (cultural, socio-economic status, educational, cognitive) in order to efficiently establish rapport and cooperative, collaborative working relationships.
Skill in analyzing information, problem solving, and identifying areas for improvement.
Two plus years of overall experience in data management, data analysis, and/or data science.
Experience with software such as MS Excel, Word, Visio or data visualization tools such as Tableau, MS Power BI, and/or related.
Experience building data reports for decision support.
Exposure to tools such as Epic software, SQL server management studio, and/or similar type applications.
Knowledge of principles on data governance, data security, and quality assurance.
Skill in handling sensitive or confidential matters with discretion.
Experience developing, monitoring, and implementing office systems and procedures to ensure a smooth and effective operation.
Familiarity with medical terminology.
Experience within an academic medical setting.
Bachelor’s degree preferred
