General Purpose of Job:
The Aircraft Cleaner is responsible for performing aircraft interior cleaning, including equipping the aircraft cabin for flight according to specifications, with equipment and cabin services supplies; cleaning interior of aircraft by hand or powered equipment using cleaners; completion of the aircraft cleaning bill of work as required; stocking and cleaning of vehicles used in the cleaning functions; stocking and cleaning of the cabin services make-up rooms area; stocking and maintaining cabin services kits; disposing of trash, rubbish and waste that is incidental and related to the applicable job functions.
Responsibilities (Other duties as assigned):
Operates hand or powered equipment using cleaning fluids such as washing solutions, scrapers, squeegees, wringer pails, and vacuum cleaners to clean the interior of the aircraft.
Wipes down and cleans the interior of aircraft including windows, seats, seatback pockets, seat tracks, trays, overhead compartment doors, sidewalls, air grills, leg rails, floor light tracks, passenger service units, ceiling, center vent, and center aisle armrests.
Removes and replaces headrest covers, pillow covers, and blankets. Ensures all seats are dressed uniformly.
Removes all items from seatback pockets and removes all trash. Replaces the items in the seatback in the following order: safety information card, airsickness bag, an airline magazine, and any other media.
Cleans bathrooms, empty trash bins, restock feminine products, airsickness bags, toilet paper hand towels, hand soap, and facial tissues in lavatory area.
Cleans the galley area, galley equipment, empties trash bins, and mops floor in the galley area.
Cleans pilot seating area, windshield, empties trash and cleans the floor in the cockpit area.
Cleans under seats by lifting all seat cushions once clean replace seat cushions and seatbelts neatly. Checks for missing life vests and seals on the container as directed by the supervisor. Notify the supervisor if any vests are missing.
Handles International Trash in accordance with regulatory procedures.

Qualifications:
High School diploma or GED equivalent
Must pass background check, pre-employment drug test and obtain security clearance
Must be 18 years or older
Ability to work a variety of days including weekends, and holidays
Must be able to perform the following functions in variable weather conditions as well as environment conditions, i.e. jet engine fumes, vehicles emissions, dust and jet engine noise.
Ability to push/pull/lift 50 lbs. for extended periods of time
Reports to work on a regular and timely basis.
Must have authorization to work in the U.S.
Must have valid Driver’s license
Ability to read and write English; bilingual skills a plus
Physical Demands:

Must be able to carry 50-pound suitcase from the floor to 18 inches and carry 50-pound suitcase in front of you with both hands for a distance of up to 25 feet; must have physical dexterity sufficient to perform repetitive tasks and motions, including bending at the waist and knees, squatting, kneeling, crawling, twisting and sustaining those positions for extended amounts of time. Must have sufficient vision and ability to safely perform the essential functions of the position.
Work Environment:

Airport environment: Indoors and Outdoors. Extreme outdoor conditions where extreme temperature ranges may be encountered.
