Position : Assistant Brewer / Cellar Person

Job Description : Full-Time Position

Poseidon Brewing is expanding operations and looking for skilled production team members. To
do this, we need individuals that are focused, talented, communicative, team oriented and committed
to making the highest quality beer imaginable. We currently have an opening for a full time
assistant brewer / cellar person at our 7bbl brewery in Ventura, CA.

In general, you would participate in and perform, but not limited to:

Ingredient handling and measurement
7bbl brewhouse operation (gas fired)
Fermentation monitoring and documentation
Dry hopping
CIP/SIP of all brewery and cellar vessels
Transfers of wort and beer in progress
Carbonation of brite beer
Racking of kegs from brite tanks
Keg washing
Canning line operation
Equipment maintenance
Facilities maintenance (cleaning of floors, surfaces, common areas)
Manage inventory and supplies

Candidates must have:

Team player attitude
Attention to detail
Desire to grow
Focus on working safely
Ability to legally drive company vehicles
Excellent verbal and written skills
An understanding of Microsoft Excel and Word
Ability to utilize brewery management program
Prior brewery experience
Full mobility to perform all tasks associated with craft brewing
Ability to lift and carry 55lb to shoulder height repetitively
Ability to move 170lb at floor level repetitively
Ability to stand for duration of shift
