Job Description : Production Assistant Formosa Interactive
The Formosa Interactive Voice Over Production Assistant will work remotely in several capacities with the potential for hybrid return to work conditions. This role engages with our Voice Over team, our clients, actors, agents, and directors; and drives results with applied production support excellence. The Production Assistant works in conjunction with Formosa’s Producing team to guide clients and their projects through the phases of the voice over recording process. The Production Assistant provides support throughout the pipeline where needed with concentrations on scheduling talent and resources, talent contracts and payments, and union tracking. The role requires preparedness, flexibility, multitasking, attention to detail, patience, and confidence in dealing with the entertainment professionals we engage with at the highest level.
Responsibilities:
Assist Producers and Associate Producers with the day to day management of multiple projects
Cultivate and preserve relationships with prospective and existing clients and vendors
Execute schedules and timelines set by Producers and Clients
Ensure that all client communications are handled in an expedient mannor
Efficiently communicate with the leading voice over agents in Los Angeles, and progress rate negotiations
Assist casting directors and producers as needed in the audition process
Schedule and book actors and directors for their upcoming voiceover sessions
Maintain a baseline knowledge of the SAG-AFTRA Interactive union agreement
Support Studio Host on client services tasks on occasion during busy periods
Generate call sheets for each project on each day of recording
Provide thorough session information to actors, directors, and crew including all the necessary details and materials about their upcoming voiceover sessions
Generate talent paperwork for payment (including contracts, reimbursement invoices, tax documents, timecards, NDAs, and all relevant paperwork.)
Process and submit talent paperwork following each session per established guidelines
Maintain payment pipeline for talent, directors, crew, and vendors
Assist in closing projects and work with the Formosa Producing teams to finalize budget records.
Qualifications
BA/BS in applicable field preferred
