Position : Assistant to Non-Scripted TV/Podcast Agent
Job Description : The Gersh Agency, a talent and literary Agency with offices in Beverly Hills and New York, is seeking a highly motivated, energetic, detail-oriented assistant with Agency and or Entertainment desk experience for its Beverly Hills office to support a Non-Scripted TV Podcast Agent. Handles everything from non-scripted TV to documentaries and podcasts.
JOB DUTIES:
Administrative support including phone management, calendar management, expense reports, and travel arrangements.
Liaise with clients directly for various reasons such as appointments, auditions, etc.
Draft email correspondences, send submissions, and track incoming/outgoing material.
Interface with clients, managers, film producers, and studio executives in a professional manner.
Ability to make sound decisions efficiently and effectively using critical thinking and practical approaches.
Ad hoc duties for projects as needed
SKILLS & QUALITIES:
Bachelor’s Degree required
Proficient in Microsoft Office
Proficient in Google Suite
Heavy phones, rolling calls
Tracking client appointments, submissions
Scheduling and other duties as assigned
High level of initiative and capable of managing one’s time and multiple projects simultaneously.
Excellent written/verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
Positive attitude, highly organized, and driven.
Can handle highly sensitive and confidential information with the utmost discretion.
Strong attention to detail and excellent follow-up skills are paramount.
Willingness to make a one-year commitment is strongly preferred.
Ability to read material quickly and form opinions / relay feedback.
The ideal candidate is resourceful, articulate, intelligent, and looking to become an agent.
