Job Description : Reporting to the Warehouse Team lead, the Campus Courier will be responsible for all aspects of material movements between the warehouse and main Campus from our Siemens DISW Warehouse based in Wilsonville ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and legislation.
Key responsibilities include:Experience of incoming receiving processes and associated industry standard procedures and practices including receiving, inspecting, sorting, and staging inbound freight for delivery quickly and accuratelyExperience of warehouse management in accordance with SOP’sManage all pick-up and deliveries as required on and off campus.Package and process domestic small parcel and freight shipments.Operate company truck and keep in good working order.Perform SAP receiving and other transactions for Purchase Orders.Prepares and maintains records of items shipped and delivered
Loads and unloads trucks while delivering or picking up items
Key competencies/technical skills required:1+ year experience in a similar environmentProficiency in the MS Office suite of tools and in Microsoft OutlookTeam oriented individual with a ‘can do’ attitude, able to communicate effectively at all levels and manage concurrent activitiesHigh levels of self-motivation and discipline, commitment to continuous improvement and high-quality assurance standardsBe able to work on own initiative in a high pressurized dynamic environment.
Excellent attention to detailGood inter-personal skills and able to deal collaboratively with internal/external parties.
Must be prepared to accommodate a flexible working hour’s environment, ensuring that at crunch times partners in other time zones have easy access to support.Forklift license an advantageKnowledge of industry standard health and safety/manual handling proceduresAble to Lift up to 90 lbs. using industry standard Safe Lifting PracticesSAP experience highly desiredExcellent verbal and written communication skills
Licensed with a clean driving recordMinimum of high school diploma
