The Review Operations team — a group within Snap’s Platform Integrity and Operations organization — focuses on moderating publicly facing content on Snapchat. It’s our job to keep each Snapchatter’s experience safe, whether that is engaging with a Snap on Spotlight, a creator on Discover or an advertisement served between friend’s Stories. Our team assesses broadly distributed content against our Community Guidelines, Terms of Service, and Product-specific policies. Together, with our Product and Engineering counterparts, our Moderation team reinforces our Community Guidelines across content types, every day. This team empowers Snapchatters to have safe, relevant and engaging experiences with content on Snapchat.
We’re looking for a Content Review Specialist to join the Review Operations team!
What you’ll do:
Review, categorize and tag large volumes of content
Assess and describe scenarios — quickly, effectively, and with impeccable attention to detail
Coordinate with teams to identify information related to pieces of content
Exercise good judgement when reviewing and selecting Snaps that are appropriate and meet brand and curation guidelines
Drive improvement initiatives by providing guidance on policy development and executing projects that will enhance existing workflows
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
Strong interpersonal skills to be able to work with various team members throughout the company
Meticulous attention to detail, as well as an understanding of the content moderation landscape
Developed perspective on prominent trends and issues in the online safety world
Able to work independently while also operating as a collaborative team player
Customer-driven with a passion for supporting Snapchatters
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience
Flexible work-hours: full-time and weekends as needed
Preferred Qualifications:
Flexibility to work any assigned shifts which may include early mornings, late evenings, and weekends
Passionate about providing high quality customer support
