Job Description : SCFHP COVID Vaccine Outreach and Appointment Scheduler
Santa Clara Family Health Plan (SCFHP) is a local, community-based health plan dedicated to improving the health and well-being of the residents of Santa Clara County. Working in partnership with providers and community organizations, we serve our neighbors through our Medi-Cal and Cal MediConnect (Medicare-Medicaid Plan) health insurance plans.
SCFHP is looking to hire self-motivated, flexible, and energetic individuals to work in our office, making outbound calls and appointment scheduling for our members.
Current Openings: Member outreach and appointment scheduler ( San Jose)
Salary: $25 an hour
Duration: Temporary, Full-time for 3 months

General Description:
Under the direction of the Project Lead, the Outreach Appointment Scheduler will place outbound calls in a high call volume environment and work directly with members to schedule vaccination appointments. Must be able to follow established guidelines and resources to respond to member inquiries in a professional and culturally competent manner.
Qualifications:
High School Diploma or GED.
Minimum two years experience in customer service/phone skills
Self-starter and independent

Experience with Excel
Computer literate/quick learner
Healthcare experiences highly desirable
Bilingual (Spanish, Vietnamese, Mandarin, or language bi-lingual skills.) – Desired
Working hours:
40 hours/week, with the flexible scheduling for an 8-hour shift between the hours of 8:30 am – 8:00 pm, Monday – Friday, and some weekends Saturday & Sunday
