Job Description : General Labor/Machine Operator
Lake City
Biewer Sawmill is filling general labor/machine operator positions within the
sawmill operations for candidates that are willing to train in various roles, possess
problem solving skills, and enjoy being a team player. We are scheduling
interviews for openings on 1st & 2nd shifts.
Accountabilities –

Operate modern sawmill and fence mill equipment:
Train on various aspects of the sawmill and fence mill manufacturing processes;
Follow work instructions and monitor equipment performance;
Identify and communicate production and quality concerns;
Ensure safe work practices and follow safety procedures; and
Maintain good industrial housekeeping at workstation and work areas.
Qualifications –

HS Diploma or equivalent;
Solid work history; and
Mechanical aptitude.
