(Job #22-52) Administrative Analyst/Specialist I-NE, Curriculum Support Analyst, $3,288-$6,347 monthly. Appointments are typically made at the beginning of the salary range. This is a full-time, benefited, non-exempt, 12-month pay plan permanent position with a one-year probationary period in the Department of Academic Programs. Posion Summary: Reporng to the AVP of Academic Programs, the Curriculum Support Analyst will work under direct supervision from the AVP of Academic Programs and Dean of Undergraduate and Graduate Studies to develop broad responsibility for planning, organizing and priorizing work in order to oversee development and maintenance of the Cal Poly Humboldt academic curriculum and degree program requirements. This person will be knowledgeable in WASC, CSU, and Cal Poly Humboldt curriculum policies, learn established campus procedures and melines regarding annual curriculum review process. The Analyst will make updates to the curriculum database and the on-line Cal Poly catalog.

Key Responsibilies:
Analyzes and ensures the accuracy of the CMS (PeopleSo) course catalog
Builds and tests the Enrollment Requisites for courses
Troubleshoots enrollment requisite issues during registraon periods
Programs, maintains & manages curriculum management system (Curriculog) and informs relevant commitees
to assist in workflow planning
Provides curriculum support for Arculaon, Transfer Degrees, CourseMatch, Academic Scheduling and related
programs
Provides support to faculty in developing curriculum
Support curriculum commitees
Develop programing skills in Peopleso to provide reports needed to support curriculum
Develops and understanding of CSU & WASC policies regarding curriculum
Make recommendaons to Cal Poly’s approach for displaying curriculum and academic program requirements in
online, easily accessible, and user-friendly formats
Manages curriculum proposals and establishes annual curriculum review process deadlines and assignments to
colleges, departments, and other units
Conducts research and provides recommendaons for soluons to a variety of curricular problems
(undergraduate and graduate), including monitoring and reporng course duplicaons, proliferaon, or inacvity and fiscal
Works in collaboraon with the AVP, Associate Deans and Analysts to idenfy problems, develop soluons and
recommend improvements to Cal Poly curriculum policy and processes
Assists in the preparaon of special studies, projects, reports and materials with broad campus and system
impact for submission to the Provost, President, Chancellor’s Office, WASC and other agencies
Manages curriculum and academic program content on the curriculum website

Minimum Qualifications:
General knowledge and skills in the development, coordination and implementation of complex processes with a
foundational knowledge of current public administration principles, practices, and methods. This foundation would
normally be obtained through a bachelor’s degree and/or equivalent training and administrative work experience
involving study, analysis, and/or evaluation leading to the development or improvement of administrative policies,
procedures, practices, or programs.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with curriculum development, curriculum management and/or academic advising.
Experience using PeopleSo, Curriculog or an equivalent database.
Experience with developing and updang websites using content management system.
