Position : Datacenter Operations Technician

Job Description : Duties:
Candidate needs to be in the Santa Clara/San Jose area.

POSITION IS NOT REMOTE – CANDIDATE MUST BE LOCAL.

Help qualify and troubleshoot new hardware models

Design rack elevations and run power calculations

Rack and wire new networking equipment and servers

Design process improvements for datacenter management

Work closely with Network Engineering, Compute, and Database teams for site maintenance

Inventory and documentation of datacenter equipment and spares

Skills:
Experience with Linux

Experience working in large datacenters

Experience running neat cabling

Experience testing and verifying copper and fiber cabling

Ability to lift/move 40 pounds on a daily basis

Intense attention to detail

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Junos experience

Arista experience

Experience configuring routers and switches
