We are the Mac System Quality team, and we are searching for a highly motivated, upbeat, and experienced lab technician with a background in building strong relationships. You should enjoy working independently, be well organized, and very focused on completing tasks on time. You’ll work collaboratively with our quality assurance partners to order development equipment, build out test fixtures, organize labs, and deliver equipment promptly. Be a part of a team of people using creativity and flexibility to develop a support team engineers love to depend on. You can help inspire change, by using your skills to influence the future of our services. You’ll be challenged to support a diverse team of engineers in many roles over a variety of projects. You will get to work with a wide variety of people that will allow you to grow strong relationships. You’ll work along side quality assurance engineers to understand problems and delivery extraordinary services that make a difference to our projects and the team.
Key Qualifications
Experience running multiple labs spanning diverse products and technologies
Proven ability to organize a large inventory
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to balance multiple complex projects simultaneously
Proven ability to plan and communicate priorities to management
Proven ability to diagnose HW issues
Description
– Pick-up/drop-off of Hardware (up to 50lbs) at various locations in Cupertino – Setup and tear-down of Hardware test beds – Repairing/maintaining test hardware (run diagnostics, replace memory/hard drives) – Coordinate with cross-functional teams to maintain and improve server, network and security infrastructure – Manage resource procurement for multiple teams – Prepare test equipment for shipping world wide
Education & Experience
AS/AA and/or 3+ years related experience
