But while there is a lot to celebrate in our past, there is almost as much opportunity ahead of us. We are seeking freelance proofreaders to proof content on the Backblaze Blog, an online publication that reaches millions of readers each year, on a project basis, as well as for case studies, e-books, and other long-form content pieces.
What You’ll Do:
Review and edit content for accurate grammar, spelling, and internal style guide usage on a weekly basis.
Familiarize yourself with Backblaze’s editorial style guide.
Ensure consistency with voice and tone.

The Right Fit:
Experience proofreading content for technology companies or tech-related publications. Bonus points if you’ve worked on cloud-related content!
Availability at relatively short notice and the ability to provide less than seven day turn on content, with an average of about 2600 words per week that could develop into longer assignments over time.
Familiarity with AP Style.
A hunger to learn new things.
An appreciation of the Backblaze culture and way of doing business.
