Job Description : Gallery Assistant Position
We are looking for a personable, individual who can work in a fast paced environment and is also able to be creative in taking initiative and being independent while working on projects. Flexible, able to take direction with a team player mentality. Must be an effective communicator.
Duties

Assistant to the director and staff with correspondence and marketing.
Day to day functioning of the gallery.
Maintaining art inventory in SalesForce, Artsy, and SquareSpace. Working with WordPress, Microsoft Office Suites. Familiar with writing.
Organizing and installing for art openings. Assisting during conferences and events.
Accuracy in data input and strong attention to detail.
Able to take initiative and complete tasks independently.
Must work well with the public. Greeting and accommodating all visitors.
Be vigilant in ensuring the artwork is safe while the gallery is open and that visitor’s abide by gallery policies.

Typing Test Required.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $16.00 per hour
