Job Description : Responsibilities

Analysis, conversion, implementation, operations, and management of interfaces to/from Epic.
Assist in obtaining the interface requirements by identifying and gathering the necessary information to configure and build interface.
Understand the designing and architecting the Interface Engine and its interfaces with other applications.
Able to identify the key data elements and how they relate to various interfacing scenarios.
Demonstrate an in-depth understanding of core interface function and lead in identifying and gathering the necessary information to configure interfaces in both the Epic and Interface Engine.
Able to lead in the functional testing and assist with integrated testing in preparation for go-live.
Document and train the team members with interface workflows.
Able to present anything related to interface projects or other findings to leadership.
Planning and conducting the scheduled maintenance which includes patching and failover of Interface engine and APIM.
Participate in the monthly vulnerability report review and assist with remediation.
Assist with troubleshooting for root cause and remediation of interface alerts/issues.
Participate the technical troubleshooting calls during emergency issues and help with providing solutions.
Verify the scope of interface changes and update the interface engine code along with the interface scope documentation.
Proactively monitoring the regularly scheduled on-call.
Follow ITSM and ITIL best practices (Incident, Change, Problem, Asset & Configurations, etc.)
Be a champion for ISS and serve as a role model to encourage others to embrace operational changes associated with ISS initiatives.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in computer science, computer engineering, information systems or a related field. Five years of experience in job offered, or as a software engineer or a related occupational title. Alternatively, the employer will accept three years of experience.
Demonstrated experience with JAVA development and J2EE technologies.
Demonstrated experience in all phase levels, including analysis, design, implementation, testing, and migration, as well as monitoring and supporting a large number of systems.
Demonstrated experience with HL7, SFTP, Database, X12 interfaces.
Demonstrated proficiency in UNIX and Shell Scripting.
Demonstrated knowledge of RESTful API, JSON, and Spring framework.
Demonstrated knowledge of JUNIT and Jenkins technology.
Demonstrated experience with healthcare data and understanding of healthcare workflow.
Demonstrated experience in project management, including developing system workflow and business process flow analysis and design, and manage project plan.
