Job Description : Inventory Clerk
POSITION SUMMARY: The Inventory Clerk is responsible for managing a wide range of activities with regard to product inventory tracking, inspections, and transfer.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
· Analyze active inventory and compares them to physical inventory.
· Report and correct discrepancies between physical counts and computer records.
· Receive, document, and sign for deliveries.
· Inspect all deliveries and shipments for products damage and proper regulatory and documentation procedures.
· Coordinate shipping transfers to location and ensure a complete count.
· Locate and remove defective products from inventory stock.
· Create a storage capacity report of total pallets and average percentages.
· Manage Inventory Reports using Famous Software.
· Use computerized inventory software to record, track and maintain all inventory-related data.
· Document all data to appropriate online databases (i.e. QuickBase, Famous, etc.).
· Ensure FIFO rotation throughout the facility.

QUALIFICATIONS
Education and Experience
· High School Diploma or GED required
· 1-3 years of experience working in warehouse/manufacturing required
Language
· Bilingual in English and Spanish, preferred
Skills
· Previous experience with Famous Software preferred
· Proficient Computer Skills
· Proficient in Microsoft Excel
· Excellent written and verbal communication skills
· Excellent attention to detail and accuracy of work.
· Ability to work independently, with minimal guidance, and quickly adapt to change
Miscellaneous
· Reports to: Supply Chain Supervisor
· Supervisory Responsibilities: None
· Status: Non-Exempt
· Travel: Ability to travel to all plants located in Cutler, Reedley, Sanger, and Kerman
· Schedule: Ability to work a rotating schedule between morning and afternoon shift

While performing the duties of this job, the employee may be exposed to a typical office environment—prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer. However, the employee is expected to travel to different locations (within a 50-mile radius distance from the primary location) to interact with employees in multiple processes.
Must be willing to work a flexible schedule; this is critical to support the needs of the business and is subject to change.
