CLC is the largest children’s legal services organization in the nation, serving 33,000 clients in the Los Angeles, Sacramento, and Placer County child welfare systems.INVESTIGATOR CLERK JOB DESCRIPTIONThe Investigator Clerk works directly with the Investigator Supervisors in facilitating the work of all Investigators.Duties may include:

Be available during regular business hours (8:00 AM to 5:00 PM) to perform job duties
Arrive promptly at work each morning
Creation of investigator work files for distribution
Photocopying and subsequent re-assembly of attorney files
Filing, scanning documents
Boxing files, lifting boxes up to 30-35 pounds in weight
Data entry and assistance with case management
Typing of reports as needed
Delivery of files and mail
Based upon need and availability, assist with other clerical tasks
Seek assistance from supervisors when prudent or required
Be professional, patient, and understanding when interacting with clients, caregivers, colleagues and supervisors
Possess a pleasant demeanor in the office and know how to communicate effectively with colleagues and supervisors
Have a team player attitude and willingness to help out
Must be able to provide proof of full COVID-19 vaccination plus booster status
