Nook Sleep Systems is an organic, eco-friendly brand specializing in innovative baby, sleep and play products. We’re looking for an eager, self-starting Marketing Manager ready to dive head-first into the wonderful world of babies, toddlers and big kids.
As Marketing Manager, you’ll be primarily responsible for planning, managing and leading the execution of all digital marketing efforts across a team of employees and vendors. You will influence and optimize our digital platforms, effectively showcasing our brand, increasing traffic and conversion on our website and ensuring our customers have a seamless experience. The priority is to deliver a customer experience that brings our brand to life and differentiates us from competitors across all digital marketing channels.
We are looking for a high energy, self-motivated, experienced individual who is creative, resourceful and has an exceptional work ethic. Job DescriptionThe Marketing Manager will develop and implement sales-growth strategies, marketing campaigns, social media campaigns, influencer, affiliate and brand partnerships and on collecting marketing analytics.
To be chosen for this role, you must have experience in D2C eCommerce sales and marketing, preferably using Shopify. Effective written and verbal communication skills and a high level of attention to detail are both important keys to success in this role.
The overall goals for this role also include increasing traffic to our website, optimizing conversion rate and customer engagement via all marketing channels and website applications. A key component to this role is the ability to effectively and enthusiastically share our brand and products with potential partners.
ResponsibilitiesBrand Management and Digital Marketing
Work directly with leadership to define brand strategy (brand identity, marketing strategy and creative direction) and then execute it across all platforms
Ensure our branding is represented across all digital platforms—our website, social media,
B2B retail ecommerce retailers, email marketing, etc.
Manage all social media efforts including but not limited to planning and posting content while maintaining a consistent brand voice across all channels
Develop a revolving campaign plan and supporting editorial calendar, working closely with the Marketing Coordinator and presenting to leadership.
Oversee curation of site content to ensure all product and brand information is up to date and accurate
Work directly with the Head of Sales to coordinate all promotional activities
Digital advertising – manage agency partners to execute successful social and paid search campaigns
Marketing Initiatives
Manage execution of product launches, sales and brand promotions
Special projects as assigned to support brand development and day-to-day marketing needs
Collaborating with the Head of Marketing, Head of Sales, internal teams, clients and partners on marketing strategy
Learning and working with various types of software for digital marketing
Execute market research initiatives
Have a passionate interest and ear for listening within all social communities to identify content gaps or negative sentiment and preemptively address consumer needs and mitigate negative publicity
Identify real-time trending topics, share inspiration and initiate efforts appropriately
Brand Partnerships
Curate a list of potential brand partnerships both for brand and products and work with the leadership to execute them
Leverage existing tools such as Rakuten and GRIN to build influencer and affiliate marketing opportunities
Monthly influencer, affiliate and brand partner performance reporting and analytics
Reporting
Work closely with the team to compile monthly, quarterly and annual reports on campaigns and initiatives to be delivered to leadership
Monthly monitoring of all tools and applications for ROI and provide recommendations
Requirements
Minimum of 5 years experience in digital marketing and eCommerce for CPG
Versed in Dropbox, Airtable, Canva, Adobe Creative Suite
Google Business, Google Analytics, Google AdWords, Facebook Business Manager
Management experience of small team
Self-motivation and the ability to learn quickly are essential. You have to produce results without needing supervision. Must be a decisive, action-oriented individual with an entrepreneurial drive.

Pay: $1,280.00 – $1,600.00 per week
