Job Description : Seeking a full time Medical Assistant for AllergyDox and HeyAllergy.
AllergyDox is a rapidly growing Allergy/Immunology practice located in a prime location in Burbank, CA (near Disney and Warner Bros.) in two office locations in juxtaposed buildings : 201 S. Buena Vista St., Suite 310, Burbank CA 91505 and 191 S. Buena Vista St., Suite 330, Burbank 91505. As a premiere Allergy/Immunology practice in Los Angeles that has taken care of thousands of patients through the years, Allergydox strives to provide patients with excellent and effective care in areas of allergy, immunology, asthma, and eczema and alleviate the daily struggles patients face.
HeyAllergy is a medtech telehealth platform providing Allergy/Immunology care in the comfort of patient’s homes recently launched in October 2021 that is currently in seven states (CA, PA, FL, NY, TX, IL, NV) with the aspirations of expanding nationally and becoming a household name.
Job Description: Doing all back office procedures (e.g. skin prick intradermal testing, patch test preparation and application, administration of shots, spirometry, exhaled nitrogen oxide, antigen mixing, etc.), helping with patient intakes, taking vitals, independent tasks. Medical assistants will also be cross trained to be able to do front office work if necessary. Company is seeking a candidate that is able to commit at least two years to this position.
Hours: 32-40 hours a week.
Compensation: Range is $20-25/hr based on prior experience.
Benefits: retention bonus, vacation time, and sick days.
Qualifications:
– 2 years experience as a medical assistant. Preference will be given if one has prior experience in Allergy/Immunology; however, is not a requirement to apply.
-Candidate needs to have good communication skills via phone or when interacting with patients within the clinic.
-Being savvy with computers is a plus, but not a requirement (microsoft word & excel, social media, updating website, etc)
