About the role
We are seeking talented Operators at our open pit Boron mine and processing facilities. This role is a great opportunity to join an operations team and contribute to the success of the Rio Tinto.
Current Operator Openings Include:
Mine Operators:
Operates haul trucks to haul ore, waste, gangue, or other specified material
Outdoors, 12 hour day/night shifts
Ensuring production equipment is operating correctly
Conducting minor maintenance on equipment as needed also, Washes and cleans process equipment according to prescribed standards
Preventing the release of process material to the environment (air, water or soil) by monitoring the processes and taking corrective action as necessary
Maintains a clean, safe and organized work area
About you
To be successfully considered for this role, you will have:
High School Diploma or GED
Ability to work any schedule
Previous experience operating process/production equipment
Experience with Forklifts, industrial machinery, dryers and agitated tanks
Some computer skills
Current and valid state civil driver’s license
Desirable Skills and Experience:
