In this role you will utilize state of the art CAD/CAM (NX / Materialize) software, LPBF machines, and laser tools, to quickly create professional quality representations of Apple’s Industrial and Mechanical Product Designs. Key Qualifications
Excellent troubleshooting and interpersonal communication skills
Prototype manufacturing experience focused on quality
Experience with laser welding and cutting with Fiber and CO2 lasers.
Familiarity with Ultrafast (Femtosecond) lasers a plus
A working understanding of 3D rapid prototyping machines
Experience with metal additive 3D printing a plus
Complete tasks in a timely manner without compromising quality
Well organized and detail oriented
Ability to work independently on assignments, and document results
Description
This team works with lasers and additive technologies, and supports new product development for the HW engineering teams. -Work closely with team members to ensure the highest quality product -Ability to work independently and as part of a larger team -Work on assignments requiring considerable judgment and initiative -Effectively communicate status of projects on a regular basis -Accurately follow operational and routine maintenance procedures -Maintain a clean, safe and organized work area
Education & Experience
High school diploma or applicable experience
