Construction Worker (Apprentice-Journeyman)
Rent the Backyard is a high growth construction company based in Oakland. We are looking to hire smart, hard-working and honest individuals who want to learn how prefab homes are installed and finished onsite.
This job will be working directly with our onsite installation team to help install backyard homes. From install day through final key handover, you will be on the job site doing miscellaneous finish up work for our modular units to make sure they are move-in ready.
About us
Our company builds ADUs – accessory dwelling units (commonly known as tiny houses) in a factory space, then install the units via crane into backyards.
As a smaller company, we are looking for employees who are comfortable taking on many tasks and learning on the job. We love to promote people from within and have a very motivational atmosphere that fosters an environment of high performance and growth.
Minimum requirements:
Ability to lift 50+ pounds
Reliable and detail-oriented
Flexible working on many different types of problems
