Position : Packline Maintenance
Job Description : The Packline Maintenance compiles and maintains records of quantity and type of material, equipment, merchandise, or supplies stocked at the instillation. This person will assist in the daily maintenance shop operations. This person must be eager and willing to learn, a team player with a good attitude, the ability to communicate well with others, and the ability to be a self-starter that can work with little guidance.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Required to work with different equipment under different weather conditions and perform repairs or preventive maintenance required.
Requires occasional lifting of parts or different equipment.
Be able to carefully follow safety regulations and strictly enforce the use of PPE as required.
Be able to operate forklift and/or aerial equipment for some of the maintenance or repairs.
Have the ability to operate a variety of manual or electrical tools required for maintenance and repairs of parts and equipment.
Organizing, cleaning, and issuing parts from the stockroom.
Driving to pick up or deliver parts for the maintenance department.
Helping to clean and organize the maintenance shop.
Assisting with small maintenance tasks, i.e. building rollers and spare parts for our box lines.
Follow all Company policies and procedures.
QUALIFICATIONS
Education and Experience
High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
Experience as a maintenance worker or similar position.
Janitorial and groundskeeping experience.
Certifications
Valid driver’s license
Professional forklift certification is strongly preferred but not required
Language
Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred but not required
Skills
Ability to lift to 30 pounds, as many packages are large.
Ability to perform repetitive tasks while sitting or standing for extended periods throughout the workday.
Experience working in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
Ability to maintain a high level of physicality for prolonged periods and working primarily standing.
Experience using a forklift preferred but not required.
People management and interpersonal skills.
Written communication skills.
Organizational and time management skills.
Basic computer skills to assist in entering Quiero Cosas into QuickBase.

While performing the duties of this job the employee will be exposed to adverse weather conditions. The employee may need to walk on uneven ground, work near equipment or machinery. The noise level in the work environment is moderate.
