Leading real estate developer is looking for a Payroll Generalist. Reports to the Controller, review and process union payroll and support HR and Accounting department.

responsibilities:

Responsibilities:

Work Closely with project teams to support the processing of union payroll, ensuring receipt of timesheets and batch coversheet from each job site, confirming all field work hours for each union craft employee has been uploaded.
Comply with company’s internal controls by auditing for appropriate timecard approvals and confirming employee signature on all weekly timesheets.
Coordinate and process any missed time or paychecks.
Manage field personnel documentation workflow from new hire to field promotion or rate changes to termination, by coordinating with project teams and/or completing necessary forms, auditing for compliance and completeness, and distribution or submission to HR and/ or Union as required.
Reconcile payroll related GL accounts.
Prepare and route documents for signature in SignNow.
Maintain and update the Corporate Finance calendar for distribution.
Post updated documents to intranet.
Scanning and filing electronic documents to various folders.

qualifications:

Requirements:
AA degree a plus
3+ years of related experience
