The shift time available:Monday – Thursday 6:30 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. with the possibility of overtime on Fridays and Saturdays.Pay: $19/hr – $20.50/hr

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES: – Review work orders- Locate windows and doors- Build unit according to specifications- Attach accessories and custom items- Perform quality checks to assure conformance to standards- Package units- Stage for Shipping- Maintain a clean and safe work area- Cut and prep custom extrusions to exact measurements- Operate basic hand tools- Cut down packaging materials- Assure conformance with 5S program- Assure compliance with all related safety policies and procedures- Perform Safety audits- Follow standard work, control plans, and written work instructions- Follow proper lifting techniques- Follow directions given by the Management team- Support and participate in Lean initiatives- Serve as a member of the Department team, providing assistance as needed- Participate in the continuous improvement process- Ability to work with other associates
Qualifications

Ability to operate basic hand tools

Ability to read a tape measure
Ability to read blueprints
Demonstrated broad product knowledge

During 2022, each eligible Andersen employee will receive $1,000 for each full fiscal quarter they are actively employed and fully vaccinated against COVID-19. An eligible employee hired during a quarter will receive a prorated payment based on the number of days employed during the quarter. Those eligible include fully-vaccinated regular full-time and part-time employees (at least 20 hours per week) who are not subject to a collective bargaining agreement. These and other terms and conditions of Andersen’s 2022 Profit Sharing Plan, including the definition of full vaccination against COVID-19, are subject to change or termination without notice.
