Job Description : Regent is a global private equity firm focused on acquiring businesses and realizing exponential growth through operational improvements and strategic capital deployment. Since its inception, Regent has successfully acquired businesses from leading Fortune 500 and large-cap companies around the globe.
Responsibilities:
Sourcing and identifying new investment opportunities and acquisition prospects
Regularly communicating with prospective acquisition targets and their representatives via email, telephone and CRM.
Conducting extensive industry research
Actively participating in the M&A deal qualification process
Preparing material for the presentation of investment opportunities
Analyzing transaction trends in private equity and across multiple industry verticals
Understanding business processes, conducting industry research, developing competitor lists
Sourcing and identifying potential talent to assist with hiring for the firm and its portfolio companies
Requirements:
Recent graduate with a Bachelor’s degree from a leading college or university
An entrepreneurial, energetic, optimistic attitude with a strong work ethic
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Strong analytical skills
Ability to effectively manage and prioritize multiple projects
Flexible and adaptable to changing priorities and new challenges
Ability to meet deadlines and work well under pressure
High level of professionalism, integrity, discretion and good judgment
Strong Excel and PowerPoint skills
