Job Description : Responsibilities
The Semel Institute for Neuroscience and Human Behavior is seeking to hire a full-time Program Coordinator to join the UCLA Training, Intervention, Education, and Services (TIES) for Families program. TIES for Family is an interdisciplinary program dedicated to optimizing the growth and development of foster/adoptive children from birth to age 21, and their families. Primary duties include:
Answering phones and assisting with family intakes
Managing faxes, copying, scanning, and filing
Creating and maintaining databases
Monitoring the collection and tracking of reports and deliverables
Updating client’s chart
Coordinating training sessions and special events
Overseeing daily office functions
Assisting with quality assurance for the Department of Mental Health projects
Qualifications
Bachelors degree in relevant field (preferred) Ability to maintain databases and utilize various communication tools, including running data analyses and creating data visuals Experience in organizing, scheduling, and supporting community trainings Ability to handle confidential material with discretion Experience in providing coordination of services and treatment for families involved in the foster care and adoptions process (preferred) Knowledge of billing requirements and mental health coding rules pertinent to billing, compliance, and privacy (preferred) Skilled in using Microsoft Office suite Excellent time management, organization and interpersonal skills Working knowledge of the ICD-9-CM coding, CPT codes, Mode & Service Function Codes, & Interchange Acknowledgement error codes (preferred)
