Job Description : Burrana develops innovative solutions that enable airlines around the world to deliver a tailored inflight experience with in-seat power, wireless, Wi-Fi, seatback and overhead entertainment. We are recruiting for a full-time Quality Inspector at our facility in Calexico, CA. The details for the position are outlined below:
Job Title: Quality Inspector
Reports To: Quality Assurance Manager
Shift: 1st Shift
Status: Full-Time
Salary Range: $25.00/hour to $32.00/hour based on experience
SUMMARY OF JOB DUTIES
Perform preliminary inspection of incoming customer repairable units.
Perform in-process inspections, ensure the accurate completion of final documents/paperwork, and ensure a high level of product quality is shipped to customers.
Assist in the management of calibrated equipment.
Initiate and act on Non-Conformance Reports as necessary.
Issue FAA/EASA release documentation pertinent to all items released to service by the Repair Station or Production Approval Holder, and ensure complete and accurate completion of FAA Form 8130-3 and/or EASA Form 1.
Ensure that defective and unserviceable parts are returned to the customer, or with the customer’s permission, the parts are disposed of properly.
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
US citizenship is required
High school diploma or equivalent
Minimum of 2 years inspection experience in the electronic manufacturing and/or aerospace industries
Ability to read, write and speak in English and Spanish
Ability to travel to the Company’s manufacturing facility in Mexicali as necessary
Ability to read and interpret drawings, blueprints, and associated specifications
Basic knowledge in electronic manufacturing
Good hand and eye coordination to work with component, parts and finished products
Verbal, written, and listening communication skills
Detail oriented; problem solver; active contributor
Flexible in work assignments, able to multi-task, able to meet deadlines
Team player
