We are growing quickly, and we are looking for an Office Assistant to support the Officers and Sales Staff.

Pay range is $15.00 to $20.00/hour.
Annual merit-based bonuses.
401(K) retirement plans with a 4% match.
Medical and dental insurance to employees working at least 30 hours/week.

Requirements:

Working knowledge of computers, Outlook, Word, Excel. Microsoft BC (Business Central) and CE (Customer Experience) are recommended but not necessary.
Strong organizational skills, multi-tasking skills, and a pleasant demeanor.

Responsibilities:

Screen calls, provide pricing, take orders, answer general inquiries.
Calculate shipping costs for UPS, FedEx, and DHL waybills and ship orders.
Generate invoices, sales orders, pick lists, quotes, and purchase orders in Microsoft BC.
Enter vendor bills and send delinquent statements to customers.
Maintain loaner/lease/standing orders and RMA logs and set alerts, as necessary.
Process credit references for new customers and vendors.
Order office supplies and process incoming mail.

V&P Scientific, Inc. is located in the Sorrento Mesa area of San Diego, CA just a mile off the I-5 on Mira Mesa Blvd. at the corner of Pacific Heights Blvd. A bus stop is located 200 yards from the office and several restaurants/lunch shops are located within a 4-block area.
