Job Description
We’re currently searching for a detail-oriented Retail Billing Coordinator to handle a wide variety of ordering and billing tasks to support our national store chain. Tasks falling under your wing include converting and releasing store replenishment orders, keying large orders and manual special orders, and working with multiple cross-functional teams—including Accounting, Finance, the Order Department, Sales and more—to handle order and billing issues as they come up. The ideal candidate will be a quick learner who takes the initiative and loves digging in to gather information and resolve problems. You’ll also have exceptional communication, collaboration and phone skills, an ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment and superb attention to detail.
This is a hybrid on-site/remote position, so candidates should live within commuting distance of our Carson, CA, headquarters.
A day at Lakeshore looks like this:

Supporting store inventory replenishment by converting transfer requirements to UPS shipments and releasing orders
Keying in large purchase orders (over $5,000/50 lines)
Manually keying in special orders shipping to stores and individual customers
Ensuring the successful processing and shipment of very large school orders for our Customer Care Program, working in close collaboration with our Sales Inside Partners
Working with the Purchasing team to fulfill large orders of store-only items
Cancelling orders and partnering with Accounting as needed for customer credits
Working with IT, Traffic, the Order Department and other inside teams to handle order issues as they arise
Fielding calls from our stores and proactively reaching out to and collaborating with internal partners to provide answers and resolve issues

Qualifications

Previous experience in a similar relevant position preferred
Exceptional administration and data-entry skills
Excellent attention to detail
Talent for learning and mastering new skills quickly
Strong problem-solving abilities and a willingness to dig in, reach out and find answers
Ability to type at least 50 wpm
Ability to multitask and juggle competing responsibilities
Superb written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills
Excellent phone etiquette
