Position : SAP Solution Architect
Job Description : Hydro Global Business Services (GBS) is an organizational area that operates as an internal service provider for the Hydro group. Its ultimate purpose is to deliver relevant IT, financial and HR business services to all business areas within the company.
ROLE PURPOSE:
Solution architects possess a high level of technical literacy, which helps the business to determine how a software solution fits into the organization’s current structure and assists in the development of specifications and requirements.
Responsibilities:
Leverage extensive knowledge of industry practices, software solutions, and methodologies to make technical recommendations on complex problem resolution
Performing integration architecture and infrastructure design activities
Participating in resolving technology integration problems
Participate in product roadmap and product strategy definition
Lead the resolution of key technical challenges both in design phase and implementatioon phase of SAP ERP projects
leverage, improve and challenge ERP solution proposals to make it follow the industrial best practices and ensure the best fit for purpose for Hydro GBS end users
design, communicate, and deliver innovative end-to-end Information Security and Compliance Solutions (this does not include the ownership of the solution)
Sopport the extension of Solution Manager penetration within the GBS IT SAP Infrastructure
Work Experience :
At least 5 years experience in SAP ERP architecture design
At least basic level understanding of project management technologies, phases, deliverables in order to be able to effectively participate in ERP projects (Prince 2 preferred)
Good understanding on SAP licensing
Sound understanding in ERP integrations including the related IT Security standards and best practices
Industry Experience :
5 year experience in SAP greenfield and brownfield migration to HANA solutions
5 year experience in cloud hosting and operations design
Education : Degree
Licensing/Certification : SAP Certification or equivalent experience (5+ years) in related field
Functional Knowledge : good communicator, logical thinker, detail driven
Technical Knowledge :
Demonstrable knowledge in Hana infrastructure components
Solution Manager and Charm integration experience
Language : Fluent English (both spoken and written)
Project Management : experience in project management is an advantage
Change Management : experience in change management in a multinational environment is an advantage
