Cut from the mold of Rudy and Karate Kid, this is an inspiring, uplifting, underdog story, which also explores parallel themes of family, culture, and belonging like Coco and Encanto. Think Pixar makes a live-action sports movie, with female leads!
We’ve got an outline and scene breakdown. A top tier agency is awaiting a script to shop. This is a terrific chance to have your work read by producers and executives looking to greenlight projects!
ABOUT YOU: MUST HAVES:* You’re a positive person who enjoys the collaborative process.
* You have experience in, and a penchant for, crafting inspiring, uplifting stories.
* You can brainstorm and write from a place of theme and are able to clearly and authentically weave those themes throughout the story.
* You’re able to bring to life an inspiring young female lead for a family audience.
NICE TO HAVES:- A knowledge of Mexican culture
– Understanding of body image issues
– Strong comedy chops
– Interest in cheerleading or gymnastics
ALL APPLICANTS MUST PROVIDE WRITING SAMPLES. PLEASE ONLY SUBMIT SCRIPTS FROM THE FOLLOWING GENRES:

COMPENSATION: 1000 per week for approximately 30 pages a week

Monday to Friday
